Myrle H. Olson, Sr. died peacefully at home on Monday, September 7, 2026, with his family by his side.

Born in Racine, Wisconsin, Myrle was a Lutheran and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from BellSouth/AT&T and was a regular attendee of the AT&T quarterly luncheon.

Myrle H. Olson, Sr. died peacefully at home on Monday, September 7, 2026, with his family by his side.

Born in Racine, Wisconsin, Myrle was a Lutheran and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from BellSouth/AT&T and was a regular attendee of the AT&T quarterly luncheon.

Myrle loved cruising with his family. He and his wife, Patty, also enjoyed camping together, a pastime he continued for as long as he was able. He especially looked forward to attending Strategic Air Wing reunions across the United States and spending time with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty, and his sons, Butch and Billy.

Myrle is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Scott Michel; six grandchildren, including Sierra Michel of the same household; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel
